Positano

An ancient fishing village, Positano, also known as the pearl of the Amalfi coast, enchants its visitors with its distinctive atmosphere.

Sung by poets and writers from around the world, today Positano is one of the most popular village of  the Amalfi coast, a place of international jet-set and the home of the colorful "Moda-Mare Positano".

Amalfi Drive

The Amalfi Drive is one of the most scenic Italian routes, characterized by high and rugged coastline which immerse into the crystal clear sea, spaced out by small villages that peek out between the wild and unspoiled nature.

Land rich in history and tradition, the Amalfi Coast was declared a Unesco World Heritage in 1997, and it is not hard to realize the reason why once you get here.

To visit the sixteenth-century Cathedral of Saint Andrew and the Cloister of Paradise in the main square of Amalfi, not forgetting a visit to the Arsenals, the site dedicated to the construction of warships in so far Amalfi was one of the Four Maritime Republics, in competition with Genoa, Pisa and Venice.

Capri

In Capri every corner of the landscape looks like something coming out from a fairy tale, so striking are its natural beauty.
Capri is only ten minutes by the Sorrento hydrofoil and is an unmissable show with the famous Faraglioni which greet all its visitors. Do not miss places like the Certosa di San Giacomo, the famous Blue Grotto, the Gardens of Augustus, Via Krupp, Villa Jovis and the Monte Tiberio. But every place of Capri a hidden treasure to be discovered

La Reggia di Caserta

Residence of the royal family of the Borboni, the Royal Palace of Caserta was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.
The Royal Palace is also called the "Little Versailles" and in fact the comparison is more than ever considerable, since the Royal Palace of Caserta is considered the last great creation of the Italian Baroque.
The palace, designed by Vanvitelli is considered one of Italy's most beautiful palaces with its 1200 rooms, rich in furnishings, frescoes and history.
Don’t forget to visit the English Garden and the Italian Garden, embellished with impressive fountains in precious marble.

The excavations of Pompeii

From the b&b Sorrento Relais Diana you can easily reach the decadent charm of this opulent Roman city destroyed by ash and lapillus from the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD, still fascinates millions of tourists.
In Pompeii, it seems that life has stopped in a two thousand years ago day.  Rediscovery in the eighteenth century thanks to the work of archaeological excavations, Pompeii offers a photograph of a rich and ancient tourist resort in the Roman times.
The excavations are open:

• From 1st of November to the 31st of March:  from 8.30 am to 17.00 pm (last admission 15.30)
• From 1st of April 1 to the 31st of October: from 8.30 am to 19.30 pm (last admission 18.00)

The ticket costs € 11 while the low 5.50.
Can take advantage of reduced ticket all citizens of the European Union less than 18 years old and more than 65 years old.

Naples

City of a thousand souls of many contrasts, Naples has been subject to many cultures that have profoundly influenced its character and temperament.
Built in the seventh century BC by the Greeks, the city of Naples was the capital of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, and is a city with a higher density of historical and cultural developments that testify its extraordinary historical and artistical development, characterized by a mix of architectural styles overlap and an impressive number of castles, churches, palaces and royal residences such as the Royal Palace overlooking on the crowded Plebiscite Square and the Palace of Portici.
